Wiseforge Ltd ("we", "us", "our") develops applications. This Privacy Policy explains how Voce handles your data when you use the application.
Voce is an on-device audio transcription and text enhancement app for iOS (including a keyboard extension) and macOS.
Data Processing
All audio recording, transcription, and text enhancement is performed entirely on your device. No audio, transcriptions, or enhanced text is sent to our servers or any third party.
Data Stored on Your Device
Voce stores the following data locally on your device:
- Transcription history — your transcribed text, duration, and the model used. Stored locally and subject to the retention limit you configure in settings.
- App preferences — your selected models, enhancement settings, and text cleanup rules.
- ML models — downloaded to your device for local inference. These are excluded from iCloud backup.
Network Activity
Voce connects to the internet only for the following, and never to send your audio, transcriptions, or text:
- Machine learning models — downloaded on demand from sources such as HuggingFace. No user data is transmitted during these downloads.
- App updates (macOS) — the macOS app periodically checks our website for a newer version. These requests carry only the app version and the standard technical information involved in any web request (such as your IP address); they are not used to identify or track you, and automatic checks can be turned off in Settings.
Keyboard Extension
The Voce keyboard extension records audio for transcription when you tap the record button. It does not capture, store, or transmit keystrokes. Communication between the keyboard and the main app occurs entirely on-device.
In-App Purchases
Voce offers optional tips via Apple's StoreKit. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Analytics & Tracking
Voce does not include any analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage of the app.
Children's Privacy
Voce is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you may have the following rights:
- Right of Access — you have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification — you have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure — you have the right to request deletion of your personal data.

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data. Since Voce processes data entirely on your device, your data benefits from the security protections built into iOS, including device encryption and app sandboxing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
